Today’s work involves searching on the web to find sites that will teach you the lesson or sites that will help others to learn the lesson. A primary site for us is our textbook link. Go to the chapter and section that you are to teach and see the resources that they have. Let it help you learn your topic. Also look on the table at the printed resources that come with our text.
Then use a Google search for your topic. I googled line plots + lesson plans yesterday and got 244,000 results. You might get ideas from some of these. Just make sure that you are teaching the main idea and vocabulary of your lesson!
If you are planning to use any media resources for your lesson, please schedule a time with me. If you need supplies that are not normally in our classroom, let me know in advance ( especially since I can’t drive!) so I have time to get them.
Good luck! I hope to get some video clips of great lessons and then see if we can find a way to show them to others.
