The object of this project is to make money!!! You are given $5,000 to invest in the stocks of your choice. I recommend a portfolio of 3 stocks. We will begin by researching 10 different stocks today. Try to look at their graphs and determine how that stock has performed over the “long run.” Find out its price to earnings ratio. Complete the worksheet by visiting either the Yahoo Finance page or the New York Stock Exchange page. On Yahoo you will find quick and easy information, but you must enter the name of a company to find the information. On NYSE you will find hundreds of pages of listings of companies. Then click on the company to research it. This page is a bit slow to download so you need to be patient. Good luck!
